The opinion of the court was delivered by Jack R. Farris appeals from jury convictions on one count of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer (K.S.A. 21-3411) and two counts of unlawful possession of firearms (K.S.A. 21-4204 [1] [b]). These convictions arose out of two separate incidents [218 Kan. 137] but were consolidated and tried together. The first incident occurred on July 31, 1972, the second on February 19, 1973.
